LIFEGUARD ROLES

If you are a qualified lifeguard and passionate about customer service then we would love to hear from you. If you want to work outside in all weathers with a fun team, this is your summer 2019 opportunity.

You will receive Aqua Park specific training on joining and ongoing training as required.

For the summer 2019 season we will operate a 7 day a week shift system to ensure the smooth running of the Aqua Park. We have full time and part time hours available.

JORDAN’S STORY

I started my journey with the Aqua Park as a Lifeguard in summer 2016 at the end of my first year at University. This is now my second season here and I plan on coming back next season!

Starting in 2017 I was offered the role of a Lifeguard Team Leader on one of the shift patterns. Additional responsibilities involve ensuring daily checks are completed on the park at the beginning and end of the shifts, helping with general maintenance and contributing ideas to the park’s layout.

This role has enhanced my organisational and communication skills as well as my ability to bring a team together. The role is ever challenging as we continue to update and find new ways to improve the park.

After work there are staff campouts, sailing, windsurfing just about anything we can think of to satisfy our social needs. It’s a great summer job, working outside in a beautiful nature reserve making customers smile!
